Submit your book analysis and a 20–30 minute teaching sequence for an imagined EFL group in Years 3–6. Suggested scope: 3–4 pages, or an equivalent clearly structured online text.
Include
- Book details including your edition/ISBN and a three-sentence summary.
- A selective A–D analysis using two or three precise page/spread references.
- One language goal and one interpretive or social-learning goal.
- A before/during/after sequence with timings, no more than two planned reading pauses, and sample prompts.
- At least two response modes for the same goal; name the barrier each support addresses.
- An observable learning check, one care/representation issue and your practical response.
- A short reflection on a decision revised after analysis or peer discussion.
Feedback focuses on
- Evidence: observations are traceable and distinguished from interpretation.
- Coherence: goals, tasks, support and learning checks fit together.
- Access: different response modes preserve the same meaningful goal.
- Critical care: representation and participation are considered without requiring personal disclosure.
- Reflection: revisions and remaining questions are explained.
Submit an online text or upload PDF/DOCX. Use readable headings and describe visual material essential to your argument. Do not upload complete commercial books or identifiable pupil work. This is a formative task: no numerical grade or fixed deadline is set here.
